About Me....
I was a late bloomer when it came to endurance sports. I didn't participate in sports much in high school and didn’t find my way into the endurance sports world until I was in my early 30’s and was fortunate to do so.

Prior to my foray into endurance sports I led a very unhealthy lifestyle. I was a heavy smoker and drank daily. Magically, I woke up one morning in January of 2006 and decided it was time for a change. At first, I found myself at the gym lifting weights but quickly realized that it wasn’t for me, so I decided to give running a try. A year later, I ran my first marathon and never looked back.

After a few years of running marathons, I felt like a needed a new challenge and in the summer of 2010, attempted my first Olympic distance triathlon. It did not go all that well but I was able to push my way across the finish line and once I did, I was hooked.

The thing that I enjoy most about triathlon is the amazing community of athletes, coaches and other supporters that make this sport so great. I don't think I would be where I am today without all that support. I look forward to sharing my knowledge, triumphs and mistakes to help others that are new to the sport or want to improve their performance and guide them on their triathlon journey.
